Tarantino Properties is looking to add a People Development Manager to join our growing company in Houston, Texas.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the entire talent development process at Tarantino Properties, including:

  • Creation, distribution, and administration of new training materials
  • On-going feedback, development, and maintenance of training materials
  • Project management of training initiatives
  • Administration of semi-annual and annual review process
  • Assist employees in identifying and pursuing career advancement opportunities within the company.
  • Build a culture of continuous learning

This person would not be the trainer for all training initiatives, but rather a coordinator to ensure that proper trainings are accomplished throughout the company.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working at a medium/large corporate environment that has a company-wide training program
  • Preferred but not required for this individual to have experience being part of a training program (end-user, not necessarily a designer)
  • 3-5 years of work experience in a similar role preferred
  • Background in Human Resources is a plus
  • Open to candidates with a consulting background
  • Must have technology competency (eg, Microsoft Suite of products, ability to learn new technology)
  • High intrapersonal skills required, as this person will need to work with executives and employees across the entire organization
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills and strategic thinker
  • High-energy, go-getter personality
  • Able to work autonomously and independently on tasks
  • Able to adapt and learn
