Job DetailsJob Details:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager for Healthcare Construction to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to lead and manage construction projects for healthcare facilities such as hospitals and cancer centers. You will be an integral part of our organization, overseeing all aspects of construction, from planning and design to implementation and completion. This is a permanent, full-time role that will require you to utilize your experience and expertise in healthcare construction and renovation.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Project Manager, you will:
1. Lead and manage all aspects of construction projects for healthcare facilities, including hospitals and cancer centers.
2. Coordinate and communicate with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met.
3. Review and approve architectural and engineering drawings to ensure compliance with design standards and regulations.
4. Oversee the preparation and execution of project contracts, budgets, and schedules.
5. Manage and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
6. Oversee the procurement and management of construction materials and equipment.
7. Ensure all construction activities comply with health and safety regulations and quality standards.
8. Coordinate with regulatory agencies and obtain all necessary permits and approvals.
9. Oversee the inspection and testing of construction work to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
10. Prepare and present project progress reports to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare construction, with a focus on hospital construction and renovation.
3. Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, managing large-scale projects from inception to completion.
4. Strong knowledge of healthcare construction standards and regulations, including OSHPD.
5. Demonstrated experience in managing construction projects for cancer centers.
6. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
7. Proficient in project management software and tools.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
10. Proficient in MS Office Suite and project management software.
11. PMP certification is a plus.
