Please ask about our generous referral fees.Start Date: 4/28/2025Job Duration: 26Could be in person or virtual4/5 inpatients/month10-15 clinic patients/month1-2 patients per day in the EDPossible weekend call but we would need to look at what that looks like and the costCoverage could be covered with multiple physiciansWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Child abuse Physician to provide expert consultation and clinical guidance in cases involving suspected child abuse. The Child Abuse Physician will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurse practitioners, social workers, and other child abuse experts to deliver timely, high-quality consultations and support in child abuse assessmentsProvide expert consultation to healthcare providers, social services, and law enforcement on cases of suspected child abuse and neglectInpatient support including but not excluded to the Emergency Room, Inpatient Services, and Trauma for suspected abuseReview medical records, imaging, and other relevant documentation to assess cases and provide guidance on next steps in child abuse evaluationsSupervise Child Abuse Nurse PractitionersSupport education initiatives for healthcare providers within our network to improve early identification, documentation, and management of suspected child abuse casesParticipate in quality improvement initiatives within CAIDMD/DO with board certification in Pediatrics and subspecialty training in Child Abuse Pediatrics preferredLicensed to practice medicine in Washington (willing to license)Experience in Child Abuse pediatrics with strong knowledge of child protection protocols, trauma informed care, and related legal processesBC in Child Abuse - Highly PreferredFull Time Availability requiredFor Telehealth, provider still must be open to Locums to perm.
