Pediatrics Physician

A community based hospital in Northern IL is seeking a BC/BE Pediatrician to join their team.This is an established practice with the ability to grow to about 2,000 active patients and see nearly 30 patients per day. You will be joining two other Pediatricians with RN and MA support. This opportunity is primarily (90%) outpatient with some inpatient duties. The inpatient unit averages about 100 admissions and 550 births per year. You will share newborn responsibility with Family Medicine. The Nursery is Level Two, and both Pediatrics and Family Medicine physicians perform circumcisions rather than OB. The schedule is M-F 8-5 with call (1:3). Pediatricians are not called for routine c-sections - only higher risk deliveries. Client offers lucrative compensation and robust benefits packages.
