Opportunity: Pediatric Hospitalist
This locum tenens position is for a Pediatric Hospitalist providing coverage on a recurring monthly basis. The role requires NRP certification and focuses on inpatient pediatric and neonatal care.
Job Details:
24-hour call shifts (6am-6am), not required to be in house
Coverage needed for August 16-20, with ongoing needs for 4-5 days monthly
Patient volume ranges from 1-7 encounters per shift
Must be board certified or board eligible within 3-5 years of residency
Active California license required
PALS certification required
Required skills include neonatal airway management and intubation, management of neonatal air leak/pneumothorax including needle decompression, emergent UVC placement, UVC/UAC placement, lumbar puncture, and EKG interpretation
Preferred skills include ventilator management and chest tube insertion for neonates
Credentialing timeframe approximately 30 days
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
