• Support staff: 6 APPs 2 fellows 3 surgical attendings
• Amount of coverage needed per month: full time 4x10/weekly
• Patients per day: o Floor: 3-8 patients/day usaully 4-5 patients during week weekends heavier census? All stepdown cardiac patients
• Patient population/age: mostly peds 8 adult population
• Department description: o Department sees all types of congenital heart disease patientso Provider will be responsible for frontline management for cardiac stepdown and prepare them for dischargeo Provider may care for patients post heart transplant. Providers will not be caring for patients prior to transplanto Provider will be responsible for consenting families prior to surgeryo Provider will be responsible for ICU consults

• Skills required: Must have pediatric cardiac care experience. Strongly prefer providers with second assist experience. Must be proficient in pediatric stepdown cardiac carePractice Setting:

• Board Certification: Yes NPs must be CPNP-AC physician assistants must have a master s degree in physician assistant studies
