Facility in Pittsfield, MA seeking Outpatient Pediatrics NP locums coverage Rates: $120/hr Position Overview

  As soon as credentialed (1-2 weeks).
• End Date:
  April 30, 2025
• Practice Setting:
  Outpatient Pediatric Office

Key Details

• Schedule:
  Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Call Requirements:
  No call responsibilities.
• Patient Volume:
• 24 scheduled visits daily (20-minute slots).
• 4-8 well-child visits per day on average.
• Anticipated 20 patients seen per day accounting for no-shows.
• Procedures Required:
  Routine outpatient pediatric primary care.
• EMR:
  Meditech Expanse
• Support Staff:
  Full interprofessional pediatric primary care team, including nurses, medical assistants, and community health workers.
• Office Equipment:
  POC testing for flu, strep, COVID-19, lead, hearing, and vision.
• Team Composition:
• 3 part-time physicians.
• No mid-level providers currently in practice.

Requirements

• Board Certification:
• Pediatrician or Family Practitioner REQUIRED.
• Licensure:
• Active Massachusetts License REQUIRED.
• Certifications:
• BLS and ACLS REQUIRED.
• Preferred Candidates:
• Local providers preferred but open to candidates with open availability and additional travel expenses.
