Position Summary:
A leading community health organization is seeking a compassionate and experienced Pediatrician to provide high-quality care to children and adolescents in a clinic setting in Los Banos, CA. The Pediatrician will be responsible for diagnosis, treatment, preventative care, and coordination of services within both ambulatory and limited hospital settings, ensuring patients receive comprehensive and personalized care.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Care

Provide primary pediatric care including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests, follow up with care plans, and ensure referrals are managed appropriately.

Maintain detailed documentation using SOAP charting and Electronic Health Records (EHR).

Review lab results, x-rays, and specialist reports to ensure integrated care.

Supervise and consult with mid-level practitioners.

Participate in on-call rotation (phone triage every 3 5 months, evenings/weekends).

Medical Records

Timely and accurate record-keeping for all patient visits.

Comply with internal policies for medical record maintenance and data accuracy.

Review and sign off on medical data and forms prior to chart filing.

Team-Based Care & Quality Improvement

Collaborate with care teams in daily huddles for patient planning and workflow optimization.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinician peer reviews, and staff meetings.

Refer patients to support services including counseling and education where appropriate.

Provide feedback and recommendations for clinical resources, staff, and operational needs.

Meet and maintain clinic productivity standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

Licensure:

Valid California Medical License

Certifications:

Current CPR/BLS certification

Preferred Skills:

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Strong commitment to preventive care and patient education

Ability to connect with patients and families from diverse backgrounds

Alignment with the mission of community-based healthcare

Physical Requirements:

Ability to move up to 20 lbs and push up to 50 lbs on wheels

Adequate hearing and vision to perform clinical functions

Manual dexterity and mobility to perform tasks including standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching
