Physician (Pediatrics) Opening in California
Location: Oakhurst / Coarsegold, CA

Salary Range: $255,000 $275,000
Position Summary:
A well-established community health organization is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Physician to join our team in the Oakhurst / Coarsegold area. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, comprehensive primary care to pediatric patients in a community clinic setting. Responsibilities include managing both acute and chronic illnesses, promoting preventive care, and ensuring continuity of care through referrals and follow-ups.
This position requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and participation in both ambulatory and limited hospital settings within the scope of licensure.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Care
Deliver primary pediatric care including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
Order and interpret labs, x-rays, and diagnostic procedures.
Develop and implement treatment plans and review progress.
Document patient encounters using SOAP format and clinic-specific systems.
Participate in on-call rotation (phone triage only, approximately every 3-5 months).
Provide supervision and consultation to mid-level practitioners.
Medical Records & Compliance
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with medical record policies.
Sign off on all lab results and clinical documents.
Ensure completion of encounter forms and chart documentation.
Team Collaboration & Quality Improvement
Attend and actively participate in staff and department meetings.
Collaborate in quality improvement initiatives and peer review processes.
Contribute to daily team huddles to coordinate patient-centered care.
Engage with referral resources and promote the integration of support services.
Minimum Qualifications:
License: Valid California Medical License
Certification: Current CPR/BLS certification
Preferred: Bilingual in English and Spanish
