Pediatric Speech Pathology

Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

An experienced professional is sought for a full-time position in Fort Wayne, IN, within a dynamic K-12 school setting. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with other SLPs and support students with diverse communication needs.

Qualifications:

Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure (CCC)
Experience in pediatric speech therapy, preferably within school settings
Familiarity with Indiana IEP processes and software
Ability to collaborate effectively with instructional staff and support teams
Must have Indiana Teaching certification

Location:Fort Wayne, IN

Responsibilities:

Provide direct therapy services to students on a manageable caseload, utilizing a 3:1 service delivery model
Collaborate with fellow SLPs and licensed assistants to enhance the delivery of services and support IEP development
Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine student needs, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each student's challenges and strengths
Maintain accurate service logs for Medicaid documentation
Participate in weekly and monthly meetings to discuss student progress and strategies for intervention
Serve as a resource across 1-2 school buildings, fostering communication and support among staff and families
