  1. Triage and care for pediatric ENT patients using accepted standards of practice. Develop a plan of care for each patient, including complete history, physical examination, diagnosis, appropriate treatment and/or referral, and use all available resources in an appropriate and cost-efficient manner.
  2. Treat patients and perform services in the ENT clinic.
  3. Reasonably participate in medical education of residents as deemed necessary by the Residency Program Director and the Chairperson of Surgery.
  4. Interact with surgical and consulting physicians, outside departments, nursing and ancillary personnel to improve patient care. Make appropriate specialty and sub specialty referrals, but maintains responsibility, assuring continuing of care.
  5. Participate in regular call coverage.
  6. Support the activities of the Pediatric ENT division and the Surgery Department inclusive of quality improvement/assurance activities.
  7. Attend and participates in St. Joseph's Health activities as requested.
  8. Complete records in adequate professional detail, and in a timely manner using electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  9. Maintain and acquire knowledge and skills to perform required duties to meet all hospital, state, organizational and licensure requirements.
  10. Perform administrative and other related duties as reasonably directed by the Chief of the Division of Pediatric ENT and the Chairperson of Surgery.
