The CRC Cottage Therapist provides individual and group therapy, crisis counseling, and oversees therapeutic services for clients. Collaborating with the Cottage Supervisor, the therapist fosters a supportive environment for staff and clients. Key responsibilities include:
Maintaining a team-first atmosphere and regular communication with the Cottage Supervisor. Assessing clients' needs and establishing therapeutic relationships. Facilitating group sessions and providing psychoeducation. Completing documentation and coordinating treatment plans. Participating in committees and referral processes. Qualifications include a Master's degree in social work or counseling, relevant licensure, and experience with children in residential treatment. Physical requirements include the ability to lift 50 pounds and respond to crises.
