The University of South Florida (USF) is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric General Surgeon with fellowship training and experience in trauma surgery to join the faculty at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor (commensurate with experience). The ideal candidate will possess outstanding clinical judgment, advanced surgical skills, and the ability to thrive in a Level 1 Trauma Center environment.
This role requires a strong commitment to clinical excellence, trauma care, multidisciplinary teamwork, teaching, and academic scholarship.
Position Summary:
The successful candidate will play an essential role in delivering high-quality pediatric surgical care including trauma care and ECMO within a fast-paced, high-acuity setting. You ll collaborate with a dedicated team at Tampa General Hospital, a designated Level 1 Trauma Center, to care for critically ill and injured children.
