This facility is seeking a Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details & requirements for this opportunity:
- Schedule: One-week stretches, Sunday to Saturday, 8:00am-5:00pm. On-call after hours until 8:00am the next day. Current open dates include 8/10-8/12, 8/28-8/31, 10/10-10/13, 12/29-1/4/26. Ongoing needs through 2026.
- Practice Setting: Inpatient pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) at St. Vincent Healthcare, 1233 N. 30th St., Billings, MT.
- Type of cases and required procedures: General pediatric critical care. Average 3-5 patients per shift, 3-5 admissions daily and nightly. Call volume ranges from 1-3 calls per day or night. Providers must manage common PICU scenarios with emergency response skills.
- Credentialing timeframe: Up to 90 days. Temps allowed for providers with clean files. IMLC LOQ candidates considered.
- EMR: EPIC. EPIC experience preferred.
- Certifications required: Board Certified in Pediatric Critical Care. BLS and ACLS required.
- Licensure required: Active Montana license preferred. IMLC LOQ accepted. Must also hold current DEA.
Facility LocationSituated between Denver and Calgary, Billings is the county seat of Yellowstone County. The city offers residents the beautiful scenery that Montana is known for, not to mention a wide range of outdoors activities for those who are so inclined. The city boast many natural and regional points of interest, including Pompey's Pillar, Pictograph Cave and the Yellow Stone Art Museum. Sports fans will be right at home in Billings, with Pioneer League baseball and Tier III hockey options.
