Locums - Minneapolis, Minnesota, Pediatric Emergency Medicine Opening Clinical Role:

•  Coverage Dates Needed: July 1st for 6 months, possible extension until they hire perm
•  Department Shift Schedule: 8hr shifts Mon-Sunday
•  APPS: Daytime starts at 7a; Evening (restructuring evening start time)
•  Physicians: Daytime starting at 7a; possible overnights that start at 11p
•  EMR system: EPIC
•  Reason for Coverage: Turnover and LOA's coming up
•  FTE Needed: 2 FTE MD; 1 FTE NP/PA
•  Outpatient Setting
•  Type of patients / cases / procedures required: Pediatric EM Cases, standard EM procedures
•  Patient Encounters per shift: 12-16
•  Available support staff: PEM physicians, Occasional Non-PEM moonlighters, residents, full complement of imaging capabilities 24/7, APP's
•  Vaccination Requirements: COVID and Flu req. Religious and Medical exemption are accepted
•  Min Availability considered: Willing to consider minimum 1 week a month availability
•  Patient Encounters per Shift: 12-16
•  Physician Shift Times: 7a-3p
•  Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Coverage: Yes, 7a-3p
•  Back Up Specialties Available: Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physicians, Residents, 24/7 Imaging
•  Physician: Pediatric residency with Pediatric EM fellowship or BC/Truly BE ABEM/AOBEM, with Pediatric EM experience
•  Active MN License or IMLC Accepted
