Pediatric

Coverage Needed:

• May 27, 2025 - ongoing
• Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with 24-hour call coverage from Monday through Sunday
• Specific Dates: May 27-30, June 2-5, June 16-20, June 23-27, July 7-11, July 28-August 1, August 11-15, August 18-22, August 25-30

Clinical Details:

• Call: Mostly phone calls, including "mommy clinic" and hospital/ER calls; unrestricted home call
  • Would only need to come in for a new diabetic consult (typically a 48hr admission and only needs to come in at least once to meet the family and arrange f/u)
• Hospitalists admit and manage most patients with phone call support
• EMR: Cerner Powerchart
• Support Staff: 1 RN, 1 LPN, 1 MA, 1 referral coordinator/scheduler, and centralized registration

Requirements:

• Must have NC license and DEA
• Board certified in pediatric endocrinology
• DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
• Current Flu Vaccine
• Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19
  • Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility.
