This pediatrics hospitalist opportunity is near Roanoke in SW Virginia. Coverage is needed from June thru October 2025, up to 20 shifts/month. Locum provider will be the only pediatrician on call. Circumcision required with sufficient case logs from prior two years. 95% of call-back will be for nursery coverage (scheduled deliveries Monday - Thursday). Deliveries in 2024 was 330. Very low peds volume on Med/Surg unit. Pediatrician is also responsible for ER call coverage. The closest NICU is 80 miles away. Please call for required procedures and rates.
