Pediatric Hospitalist Physician

Coverage Needed

• ASAP - August 30, 2025
• Day shifts: 6a-4p
• Night shifts: 4p-6a
• In-house presence required approximately 80% of the time
• Day and night coverage required

Clinical Details

• Admissions: 4-10 per day
• Inpatients: 25-35
• Locum may see between 13-15 patients
• Supervision of residents and medical students required
• Patient population includes both babies and pediatric patients
• Admits for all pediatric medical patients and most pediatric surgical patients, except pediatric trauma and hematology/oncology
• EMR: Cerner
• Support Staff: Residents and medical students
• Level 1 Trauma

Requirements

• Board Certified in Pediatrics
• Active AZ License or IMLC
• Trauma Level 1 experience
