Locum Pediatric Hospitalist - Call & Clinic Coverage

About the Opportunity:
Hospital is seeking a Board Certified Pediatric Hospitalist for ongoing locum coverage that includes both outpatient clinic responsibilities and inpatient/on-call duties. This is an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive pediatric care within our hospital system.
Responsibilities May Include:
- Providing inpatient hospitalist care for pediatric patients.
- Managing a range of pediatric medical conditions.
- Performing admissions, daily rounds, and discharges.
- Conducting outpatient clinic sessions for pediatric patients.
- Taking call for pediatric-related issues, including newborn care and general pediatric concerns.
- Collaborating effectively with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Utilizing CPOE (Computerized Physician Order Entry) within the HMS Med Host EMR system for all orders and documentation.
Call Responsibilities: This position includes call coverage in addition to the clinic schedule. Specific call schedule details will be provided.
Clinic Responsibilities: Providing outpatient pediatric care during scheduled clinic hours.
Minimum Board Certification: Board Certified (BC) in Pediatrics.
EMR System: HMS Med Host with CPOE
