Pediatric Hospitalist Physician

Coverage Needed

• July 7 - December 28, 2025
• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts for adults, night call for Pediatrics Hospitalist
• Specific Dates: 7/7-7/20, 7/28-8/3, 8/25-8/31, 10/13-10/19, 11/17-11/23, 12/1-12/7, 12/22-12/28

Clinical Details

• Call: Beeper call with a 20-minute response time required, includes phone consults
  • Cover newborns while on peds call
• EMR: Epic
• Support Staff: 2 RNs
• Admissions Required
• Practice Setting: Inpatient
• Patients per Shift: 6-12
• Beds in Department: 22
• Rounding Patients: Assigned

Requirements

• Board Certified (FM BC or IM/PED BC)
• Certifications: NRP, BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Recent experience with Pediatrics/Newborns in a Hospitalist setting within the last 3 years
• Requires both Internal Medicine/Pediatrics experience
• Must be able to see adults, pediatric, and newborns
