Locums Pediatric Hospitalist Opening - Danville, VAStart: June 16, 2025 Ongoing Need RecruitWell is seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Hospitalists for an urgent locum tenens opportunity in Danville, Virginia. This is an excellent chance to step into a consistent, call-only role in a well-supported hospital setting with emergency privileging available for qualified candidates. Position Highlights:
•   Start Date: June 16, 2025
•   Schedule: Up to 15 days/month of 24-hour call coverage (7am-7am)
•   Coverage Includes:
•   Attending all newborn deliveries
•   C-section coverage
•   ED consults
•   Pediatric admissions
•   Transfers as needed
•   Urgent need - Emergency privileges available for providers with a clean file and active license
•   Call Type: Beeper, with 30-minute response time Facility Details:
•   Pediatric Unit Beds: 6
•   EMR: Athena and Meditech
•   Call Only - No clinic or scheduled inpatient rounds
•   Assigned and unassigned patient rounding
•   Supportive team environment
•   Fellowship-trained candidates preferred Requirements:
•   Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
•   Active VA license or IMLC eligibility
•   PALS and NRP certifications required
•   Pediatric Fellowship Required
