Locum Pediatric Hospitalist 120457: Southern, Maine Needed: 1-2Job Setting: HospitalProgram Model: FT physicians & per diems (plus support from OBs, midwives, anesthesia, EM & FP physicians)Trauma Level: Level II NICUEMR: SMRActive state license/IMLC is a huge plus (ME has a quick licensing process) Start Date: ASAPCoverage: 3 mo w option to extend Schedule: 5-hr shifts/mo, mostly nights (flexible)Certification requirements: BC Pediatrics, ME DEA, NRP, PALS, BLSCredentialing: 8-10 weeks (temps may be avail)Patients per day/volume: average of 5-7 patients per day with 2-3 discharges and 2-3 deliveriesNo callBackground: must be able to resuscitate a newborn, including intubation and umbilical line placement.
