Responsibilities
We have an exciting job opportunity for a top-notch, experienced, per diem Board Certified Pediatric Hospitalist to join our well-established practice at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands.
- Hospitalist will cover Newborn Nursery and Pediatric Unit.
- 24 hour shifts - inclusive of newborn rounding during the day with call from offsite.
- Pediatric Unit is 6 general pediatric beds, no IMU, no ICU.
- No delivery attendance.
- Procedures include lumbar punctures and circumcisions.
- Average daily census of 20-25 infants.
- Opportunity for occasional training of medical student and family practice residents.
- Malpractice insurance plus tail coverage provided.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Pediatrics with recent experience required
- Active TX license or active IMLC required
