Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Pediatrics, is seeking BC/BE candidates specializing in Pediatric Gastroenterology for a full-time position to join our Division.
The Department of Pediatrics of the Loma Linda University School of Medicine is seeking one Gastroenterologist join the division of Pediatric Gastroenterology. The Pediatric Gastroenterology division currently has eight Pediatric Gastroenterologists and a Nurse Practitioner.
The division provides comprehensive gastroenterology and nutrition services to patients in Inland Empire of Southern California. Outpatient services are provided through clinics in general gastroenterology as well as specialized team center clinics caring for patients with intestinal failure (home TPN), enteral feeding tube, inflammatory bowel disease, cystic fibrosis, chronic lung disease, spina bifida, home mechanical ventilation, and liver disease. Pediatric GI team center clinics are supported by a nurse specialist, a dietician, a social worker, and other administrative staff.
LLUMC and Children s Hospital is a tertiary care referral center for the Inland Empire that spans Riverside, San Bernardino, Inyo, and Mono counties of Southern California. There is state of the art endoscopy lab at Loma Linda University Children s Hospital providing all endoscopic procedures, general motility studies, bio-feedback program, IB Stim, breath hydrogen studies, and esophageal pH studies. There is full-time anesthesia service for endoscopy procedures. There is no liver transplant program but pre and post liver transplant is co-managed with regional liver transplant institutions.
As the member of the division, the applicant s duties will include: providing clinical care to pediatric gastroenterology patients, teaching responsibilities for the Loma Linda University School of Medicine, and pediatric residency program. The Applicant should be an excellent clinician and teacher, as Loma Linda Children s hospital has a large residency program. There are 84 pediatric residents and 16 Med-Peds residents that come through the gastroenterology program. The applicant with experience/interest in motility disorders is preferred. There are ample opportunities for basic as well as clinical research.

Compensation & Benefits
The compensation range listed is for starting base compensation only and is adjusted based upon years of experience and/or faculty rank: $256,850 -$299,650. This amount does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to the individual department compensation plans. More information on compensation is discussed with the departments during the recruitment process.
