Pediatric Endocrinologist needed in Anchorage, AK
Seeking a full-time Pediatric Endocrinologist.
Diagnose, treat, and manage hormonal disorders related to the growth and development.
In this role, you will provide consultation in developing clinic policies, clinic protocols, forms, reports, and records, as well as promote new and enhance existing services.
The role requires a Medical Degree in Medicine, Completion of Residency program in Pediatrics, Completion of Fellowship program in Pediatric Endocrinology and current or immediate eligibility for Alaska Medical License.
Responsibilities
Diagnose, treat, and manage hormonal disorders related to dietary needs, such as diabetes and obesity
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of endocrine glands and their role in adolescent growth and development
Analyze records, reports and examination information to monitor patients' condition, progress and treatment
Collect and maintain patient information such as medical history, reports, and exam results
Provide on-call services as necessary
Identify serious or specialized illness or injuries and refer patients to the necessary specialist
Maintain successful working relationships with nurses and other medical facility staff
Participate in occasional and reasonable amounts of teaching and educational activities
Multi-specialty group with 70 physicians and advanced-practice clinicians serving greater Anchorage and the Matanuska-Susitna Valley.
