Pediatric Anesthesiologist Opportunity

The Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group seeks a fellowship-trained Pediatric Anesthesiologist to serve at Riverside University Health System Medical Center (RUHS), a 439-bed acute tertiary-care facility and Level II pediatric trauma center featuring the only PICU in Riverside County.
Position Duties & Highlights
- Clinical duties include both pediatric and adult anesthesia
- Pediatric case mix includes orthopedic, general surgery, ENT, urology, plastics, trauma, and non-operating room procedures and imaging studies
- Comprehensive adult surgical case mix excluding cardiac and transplant
- Call schedule: 3 in-house nights and one 24-hour weekend/holiday per month
- Lead development of expanding pediatric anesthesia services
- Protected time for directorship responsibilities and academic pursuits
- Interact with RUHS administration, surgical leadership, and medical staff leadership
- Develop and oversee creation of departmental guidelines and protocols applicable to pediatric anesthesia
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary starting at $418,000 to $438,000 with adjustment for academic rank and directorship roles

Required Qualifications
- MD/DO or Foreign Equivalent
- Board certification/eligibility in Anesthesiology
- Completion of an accredited Pediatric Anesthesia Fellowship or Equivalent
- California medical license
- Valid DEA registration number
