Role Description
This is a Full time on-site role located in Buffalo, NY for a Pediatric Fellowship-Trained Anesthesiologist. The responsibilities include providing anesthesia care to pediatric patients, working collaboratively with other medical professionals, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. The role involves administering anesthesia, monitoring patient vitals during surgery, and managing postoperative care. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for participating in departmental meetings and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Anesthesiology and Fellowship Training in Pediatric Anesthesiology
- Expertise in administering anesthesia and monitoring patient vitals
- Ability to manage postoperative care and complications
- Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and medical teams
- Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care
- Willingness to participate in departmental meetings and improvement initiatives
- Licensure to practice medicine in the state of New York
- Previous experience in a hospital setting is a plus
