Job Description

This position is being filled through OU's Peak Temporary Staffing Services.

The College of Law is looking for a friendly and welcoming Receptionist for our front desk. The Receptionist greets students and visitors, answers phones, route calls, assist in maintaining databases, spreadsheets, etc. to be current and accurate, manage Outlook calendar which includes scheduling and calendaring meetings from internal/external request, responding to dates and time inquiries of availability, light clerical work and experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) to include Zoom.

Job Requirements

Required: High School Diploma or GED; AND:

12 months office, clerical or receptionist experience.

Skills:
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Outlook)
  • Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • Ability to build rapport with guests, students, faculty and staff
  • General office skills such as multi-line phone, copying, filing, faxing, and distributing mail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to handle difficult situations in a calm and professional manner
Physical:

Sit for prolonged periods. Communicate effectively and listen. Use of a computer. Engage in repetitive motion. Stoop, bend, reach, and stoop.

Environmental:

Standard Office Environment.
