Preferred Qualifications:

High School Diploma: Position requires at least a high school diploma or equivalent.

Playing Experience: Experience playing football, especially at the high school or collegiate level, is often a strong asset. This experience gives a coach insight into the game and its strategies.

Coaching Experience: Previous coaching experience, whether as an assistant coach or at other levels, can be important. A background in coaching young athletes or assisting with football programs can demonstrate leadership abilities.

Leadership: As a head coach, the ability to motivate and inspire players is critical. Coaches should be able to maintain discipline while fostering a positive, supportive environment.

Communication: Coaches must be able to communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school staff. This includes providing clear instructions, giving constructive feedback, and fostering open lines of communication.
