SCC's Community Education Department is seeking PB Project Support Specialist - Summer Camp for our Summer camp students ages 5-14 to support in the preparation and implementation of Summer camp programs
SCC Summer Camps provide hands-on experience in specialized fields such as science, engineering, technology, chemistry, math, language arts & literature, computer science, career exploration, visual arts, performing arts, culinary, and sports. The SCC Summer Camps specialize in STEAM opportunities, We are preparing for our summer season and looking for Qualified individual(s) to assist during the summer camp season.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Providing support services to program staff Assisting with internal and external communicationRecruitment and marketing Assisting with registration processes and scheduling Assisting with classroom set up and instructional needsCollecting and verifying required forms/informationAssisting instructors with supply needsAssisting with camp assistants training and supportProviding in-class student support as neededAny other responsibilities that may arise
WORK SCHEDULE: General hours 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with Late start/extended hours 10 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. as assigned. Lead support staff will begin 1-2 days per week in April, then 5 days per week beginning-mid May. Additional support staff will begin 5 days per week at the mid-end of May. Employment will continue through the middle of August.Support staff will be scheduled as needed. Please provide vacations and conflicts during application/interview process. Ideal candidates will be available and commit for a minimum of the preparation weeks and 8 of the 9 weeks of camp.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma required.Basic computer skills required.Experience working with children required. Must be detail-oriented and organized.Professional communication skills (email, in person, phone, written) required.Trainings required before start date (Trainings will be offered on-site, if not already certified):

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:Office experience preferred. Customer service experience preferred.
