LHH is collaborating with their esteemed client to recruit a Payroll Specialist. This role involves a range of tasks focused on ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees, in strict compliance with legal and regulatoryrequirements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Precisely calculate wages and salaries for employees.
  • Manage deductions for taxes and other benefits as mandated by law or company policy.
  • Monitor employee attendance, accurately recording hours worked, vacation days, sick leave, and other time-related information.
  • Enter payroll data into payroll systems or software with accuracy and promptness.
  • Oversee the entire payroll process.
  • Generate detailed payroll reports for auditing purposes.
  • Address payroll-related inquiries from employees.
  • Participate in internal and external audits of payroll records to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, tax regulations, and other legal requirements related to payroll processing.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in payroll processing and administration.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software tools.
  • Thorough understanding of payroll tax regulations and labor laws.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
