Payroll Specialist - Responsibilities
- Process payroll for 60 employees (must have 3 years payroll processing experience)
- Manage bi-monthly to validate commission payouts
- Manage and maintain the organization's HRIS and payroll systems
- Prepare paychecks, and direct deposits
- Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies
- Manage & improve payroll processes
- Perform payroll reconciliations, ensuring all tax deductions, benefits, and commissions
- Assist with payroll tax filings
- Partner with Accounts Payable to process payroll-related reimbursements
- Prepare bi-monthly payroll, commissions, and benefits journal entries
- Calculate payable hours, commissions, bonuses, tax withholdings
Payroll Specialist - Requirements
- 3+ years payroll processing experience in commission-based payouts
- Mortgage industry experience
- Paylocity software experience preferred
