Role & responsibilities
1. Attendance & Payroll Management
- Maintain monthly attendance registers. Inform the Operations team with hold remarks if any employee has more than 5 days of Loss of Pay (LOP).
- Process payroll for permanent employees.
- Verify payroll and attendance records for consultants.
- Manage salary hold for exited and resigned employees based on policy and role.
- Generate actuarial reports.
- Pl Balance & Gratuity (Provision)
- Handle monthly Full and Final settlements and clearing all the exit forms.
- Process monthly reimbursements.
- Bonus Payout.
2. Taxation & Compliance
- Update PF, ESIC, and Professional Tax (PT) status for new joiners in Darwinbox.
- Update UAN and ESIC numbers for new joiners.
- Send new joiner data and compliance forms to consultants.
- Initiate and manage declaration forms for new joiners.
- Follow up annually with vendors for compliance returns related to Maternity, POSH, and Shops & Establishment Acts.
- Open IT Declaration and verify Proof of Investment (POI) submissions in January.
3. Darwinbox Management
- Create and manage site and geofencing setups.
- Maintain and update Designations, Departments, and Cost Centres.
- Update and implement HR policies in the system.
- Approve separations and update necessary forms.
4. Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and submit weekly MIS reports HR & OPs.
- Generate monthly zone-wise P&L reports.
- Reconcile quarterly data with the Accounts team (Tally vs Darwinbox).
- Prepare MIS and reports as required by Management/CXO/BH.
5. Others
- Maintaining and Updating PMS Master
- Issue PMS-related letters and documents.
- Provide verification and employment details of ex-employees.
Preferred candidate profile
Graduation Mandatory
5 years of experience in Payroll.
Darwin Box preferred.
worked on any other software.
