LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a leading Food manufacturing company to find a Payroll Manager to lead their payroll operations in the Voorhees, NJ area. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in high-volume payroll environments and enjoys leading teams, managing compliance, and partnering cross-functionally with HR and Finance.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee the entire payroll cycle for multi-state operations-ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely processing.
- Collaborate with HR & Accounting on reconciliations, payroll-related audits, year-end W-2s, and 401(k) reporting.
- Lead and develop a payroll team (2-3 direct reports).
- Optimize payroll systems (ADP/UKG) and implement process improvements.
- Stay up to date on federal and state payroll regulations.
What You Bring:
- 7+ years of payroll experience; 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) highly preferred.
- Strong command of payroll systems (ADP and/or UKG ideal).
- Excellent Excel, budgeting, and reporting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.
