Position: Payroll Manager

Location: Remote (Must reside in Southern California)
Compensation: $45/hr
LHH is seeking a dedicated Payroll Manager to join our client's team. This is a contract-to-hire position, offering the flexibility of remote work while requiring residency in Southern California. If you are detail-oriented, experienced in payroll management, and proficient in Workday and advanced Excel, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including employee information, deductions, and benefits.
- Utilize Workday for payroll processing and reporting.
- Perform advanced Excel functions to analyze payroll data and generate reports.
- Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Manager or similar role.
- Proficiency in Workday payroll system.
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must reside in Southern California.
