Payroll Manager - Hybrid in DC.
About the Company and Opportunity:
- Our client in a healthcare non-profit in DC who goal is to serve the local community.
- Due to leave, they are looking to bring on a temporary Payroll Manager.
- Schedule is 37.5/hrs a week - hybrid (2 days in, 3 days remote) - Mondays are required.
- The first 2-3 weeks will be in office for training.

- Duration: 3-4 months
- Pay Rate: $40-42/hr
Overview of the Payroll Manager role:
- Managing the full-cycle of payroll - processing for roughly 800 employees
- Monitoring the payroll inbox
- Month-end - reporting and Journal Entries
- Ad hoc projects/reporting
Preferred Qualifications for the Payroll Manager:
- 3-5 years of payroll experience is required
- Bachelors degree in Accounting/ Finance is preferred
- Proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Medical screenings + vaccinations are required for this position due to it being a healthcare facility
