Key Responsibilities: Payroll:

Serve as the organization's primary paymaster

Maintain payroll records and ensure accuracy of employee data

Collaborate with HR and department supervisors to validate timesheets, PTO, and policy compliance

Support HR with employee contribution/deduction reports as needed
Accounts Payable:

Manage full-cycle A/P, from data entry to online bill payment
-
Work with department heads to obtain invoice approvals and apply proper coding
-
Act as liaison to vendors and distributors, especially for program-related purchases
Revenue & Reconciliation:

Post ticket sales, memberships, and contributions from Tessitura/Adyen to the general ledger

Reconcile Tessitura reports and bank deposits
-
Partner with the Development team to ensure complete backup for contributions
Finance Operations:

Administer the American Express program: distribute statements, assist with coding, and post to G/L

Prepare audit schedules and reports as requested by the Controller

Assist with month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and filings (1099s, insurance, property tax, etc.)
Qualifications: -
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or Associate's degree with relevant experience

Proficiency in QuickBooks and payroll systems (Paychex preferred)

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
