As a Payroll Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payroll processes. You will be responsible for performing various tasks related to payroll administration, including but not limited to processing payroll, auditing payroll data, resolving payroll discrepancies, and generating payroll reports.

Description

  • Records and processes payroll accurately and in a timely fashion manner
  • Processes payroll reports and reviews for accuracy; processes adjustments if needed
  • Updates employee payroll records as needed
  • Maintains accurate payroll records for employees on weekly basis
  • Processes manual checks when needed
  • Executes clerical functions regarding payroll such as organization of payroll documents
  • Conduct regular audits of payroll records to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies or errors in payroll processing.
  • Implement controls to prevent payroll errors and fraud.
  • Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
  • Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reports needed changes
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential
  • Processes levies and garnishments
  • Analyze payroll data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues
  • Generate payroll reports through dayforce
  • Provide recommendations based on payroll analysis
  • Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests
  • Identify opportunities to streamline payroll process and improve efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.
  • Document payroll procedures and ensure compliance with internal controls
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned

Profile

  • Ability to work efficiently and with precision, especially with numbers
  • Ability to effectively communicate
  • Data entry skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Solid organizational, multitasking and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll process, regulations and compliance requirements
  • Experience using payroll software and MS Excel for data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Day-force experience essential
  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred
