A Woodlands, Texas, client is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join the Human Resources organization.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following minimum qualifications:
3+ years of experience in payroll administration
Experience with HR and payroll systems, such as ADP, SAP, and/or SuccessFactors.
Experience with federal, state, and local payroll laws
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Flexible work aptitude and a willingness to take on new tasks as needed
Ability to multitask, set priorities, and meet deadlines while providing excellent customer service
service to our associates
Ability to work with highly sensitive information and maintain strict confidentiality
Responsibilities:
Processes bi-weekly payroll through the use of our SAP Payroll system
Respond to employees' payroll and time entry questions
Maintains payroll-related spreadsheets
Performs research and provides resolutions for payroll/time-related issues
Education:
High School diploma required.
Certifications/Licenses:
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred
