Beacon Hill Financial has partnered with a repeat client in the search for their next Payroll Administrator. This role will be responsible for full cycle payroll processing, ensuring proper execution of internal controls. Candidates with proficiency in both Lawson and UKG are encouraged to apply. Additional duties will include preparation of employee wage history reports while also working with HR to ensure accurate tracking of employee PTO and payment information. Essential Job Responsibilities
- Execute daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll processes, including payroll processing, filing, and ACH file transmissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide information regarding payroll-related matters.
- Enter payroll data into the system as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of employee vacation and sick time accruals.
- Ensure payroll processes are accurate, efficient, and adhere to company policies.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to maintain compliance and operational integrity in all payroll functions.
- Assist with external reporting requirements, including tax deposits, employee wage history reports, and tax document preparation.
- Collaborate with the HR department to verify and update employee payroll information.
- Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed.
- Participate in special projects and contribute to departmental initiatives.
- Take on additional duties and responsibilities related to payroll operations as necessary.
