Job Title: Payroll Manager

Location: Lake Ronkonkoma Area, Long Island, NY

Job Type: Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial construction union payroll and proficiency in payroll software, including Payroll 4 Construction and Foundation Payroll Software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly/bi-weekly payrolls, including employee setup, deductions, and fringe benefits.
  • Manage Union payroll setups and adjustments within payroll software.
  • Communicate directly with Field Operations regarding field payroll.
  • Maintain employee electronic files and PTO balances.
  • Reconcile and process weekly Union Benefits, 401K deductions, and medical insurance.
  • Prepare Certified Payroll reports and ensure compliance with audits.
  • Handle employee travel expense reimbursements and OSHA/Workers Comp/Medical Insurance documentation.
  • Support new employee onboarding and HR/payroll functions.

Ideal Candidate:

  • 5+ years of commercial construction union payroll management experience.
  • Expertise with NYC and Long Island Union Carpenters payroll.
  • Experience with Payroll 4 Construction or other 3rd party payroll programs integrated with Sage 300.
  • Strong knowledge of Gross to Net payroll calculations and taxes.
  • Excellent attention to detail, computer skills, and communication abilities.
