We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Accountant withNetSuite expertise to manage end-to-end payroll processes and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and company policies. The ideal candidate will have a background in payroll accounting, tax reporting, and systems integration, with hands-on experience using NetSuite ERP to process payroll data and support financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities: -
Maintain payroll records and ensure proper documentation and audit trails in NetSuite.

Reconcile payroll-related general ledger accounts and prepare monthly journal entries.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.

Collaborate with HR to maintain accurate employee records (new hires, terminations, changes).

Calculate and manage payroll deductions, including benefits, garnishments, and retirement contributions.

Generate payroll reports, audit trails, and metrics for internal and external stakeholders.

Coordinate with external payroll providers (e.g., ADP, Paychex) as needed.

Support annual audits, including providing payroll documentation and reports.

Assist in process improvements and automation of payroll accounting functions in NetSuite.
Qualifications: -
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

3+ years of payroll accounting experience, preferably in a multi-state or multi-entity environment.

Proficiency in NetSuite ERP is required .

Experience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Gusto) is preferred.

GAAP and payroll tax regulations.

Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
