Description

Wilmington Eye is actively seeking a full time, engaging , personable, outgoing person to join our vibrant fast paced call center. This is not a remote position. General hours for the role are between 8:00 am and 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Some Saturdays may be needed.

If you love to be on the phone, are computer savvy and like to solve problems, this role could be for you.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Data Entry and Chart Administration
  2. Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments as necessary.
  3. Track all relevant patient information and make necessary notations and changes in computer system.
  4. Answer telephone calls promptly. Address the patient's concern in calling. Direct all calls to appropriate personnel.
  5. Identify emergency calls and route to triage.
  6. Create patient communications for staff members and physicians as necessary.
  7. Consistent Patient Follow-Up
  8. Reschedule missed appointments or reschedule for physicians prn.
  9. Assist with referrals
Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Experience in customer service helpful.
  3. Nextech experience preferred.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  1. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  2. Strong and experienced background in data entry.
  3. Ability to work as a team member.
  4. Manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  5. Highly motivated and organized.
  6. Empathetic with patients' needs and concerns.
  7. Excel under pressure.
  8. Attention to detail.
  9. Treat patients with respect.
  10. Maintain patient confidentially at all times.


Salary Description

Starting pay $17.00 an hour
