Who we are looking for: A professional, compassionate, and dedicated individual to coordinate patient scheduling and act as an ambassador for UWH by communicating with patients and their families who we are and what we do while following the patient through the continuum of care.
Main Responsibilities (may include but are not limited to): - Responsible for reaching out to patients and their family within skilled nursing facilities and at-home to introduce UWH; explain policies, procedures, rights, applicable regulations, and provide informational resources about available services
- Works closely with providers and patients to coordinate and schedule at-home visits
- Ensures the business office team has all documents necessary to verify insurance, co-pays and patient responsibility charges
- Follows up with at-home patients post-appointment
- Communicates patient updates with providers
- Answers incoming phone calls and completes other general administrative duties
- Accomplish other tasks as assigned
Skills required to succeed: - 1+ years phone customer service
- Ability to multitask while providing compassionate patient care
- Professional phone etiquette
- Computer savvy; Intermediate proficiency using MS Suite: Word, Teams, Outlook, and Excel
- Ability to prioritize work load and have a strong sense of urgency when time sensitive situations arise
- Must be self-motivated, punctual, dependable, and able to work/schedule appointments independently
- Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people through both verbal and written communication lines
- Must be trustworthy, honest, and have a positive and professional attitude
Compensation: $20.00-23.00 hourly - DOE
Location: th St NE Suite I, Puyallup, WA 98372

Hours: Typical hours are Monday through Friday some occasional weekend hours may be required; 8am-4:30pm PST
