Summary
Under the supervision of the Office Manager, the Patient Registration Assistant is responsible for registration, scheduling, and insurance verification functions, as assigned. Responsible, as assigned, for collecting payments from patients, answering and routing phone calls, filing dictation in charts and performing other administrative duties.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years medical office experience
- Knowledge of HMO, PPO and governmental payor policies and guidelines
