Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Patient Coordinator located in New York, NY. The Patient Coordinator will be responsible for managing appointment schedules, handling phone inquiries, performing receptionist duties, and maintaining accurate medical records. The role involves direct communication with patients to ensure a seamless experience.
Requirements
- Experience: 1-2 years in a customer service role, preferably in a medical, spa, or office management setting.
- Preferred Qualifications: Medical assistant certification or equivalent experience in a clinical setting (medical students are welcome to apply).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with an eye for detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with patients and team members.
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to engage effectively with diverse individuals.
- Familiarity with EMR and eRx systems, as well as Mac operating systems.
- Social media proficiency (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube) and experience promoting products/services.
- An enthusiasm for aesthetics, wellness, and delivering outstanding patient care.
- Knowledge of aesthetic treatments and procedures is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and guide them through their visit.
- Collaborate with providers to ensure appointments are prepared and run smoothly.
- Provide hands-on support during treatments, ensuring patient comfort and confidence.
- Educate patients about procedures and set clear expectations.
- Follow up post-appointment to address any questions and maintain patient satisfaction.
- Manage schedules, consent forms, and patient photography/videography.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Keep treatment rooms clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Assist with day-to-day operations to maintain a professional and welcoming environment.
- Support media marketing efforts, including social media content creation and engagement.
- Help promote products and services effectively.
