Pathologist Opportunity Hamilton, New Jersey

Position: Locum Tenens Pathologist
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Coverage Dates: Beginning June 2nd, ongoing

Work Assignment:

• Specialty: Anatomic and Clinical Pathology

• Location: Hamilton, NJ

Scope of Work:

• Frozen section analysis

• Rapid onsite evaluation of cytology specimens

• Surgical pathology sign-out

• Cytopathology sign-out

Volume Expectations:

• Annual Surgical Cases: Approximately 5,932 cases (around 16 cases/day)

• Annual Cytology Cases: Approximately 1,123 cases (around 3 cases/day)

Schedule:

• On-site coverage required Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

• Night and weekend call coverage required

Additional Information:

• On-Call Duties: Yes

• Patient Load: Varies (typically based on case volume noted above)

• Board Certification: Required Anatomic and Clinical Pathology

• Support Staff: Yes, working alongside one full-time faculty member

• Advanced Practice Providers: None assigned to locum physician
