We are looking for a pathology assistant to help in a busy practice in Dallas, Texas. Duties are centered on performing careful and thorough prosection of a variety of specimens ranging from biopsies to complex oncologic resections, with a fairly significant number of gynecologic (placentas, uteri) and breast cases (lumpectomies, mastectomies). Pathologists are hands-on, willing to assist and educate as needed, and will be working alongside the PA to help with gross on heavy days or complex specimens.
Requirements: Master's degree (pathology assistant); good verbal and written communication skills.
Hours are Monday through Friday, 9-5 (negotiable). No weekends; no holidays; 25 days of vacation per year.
