Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Patent Agent to manage patent drafting, prosecution, and defense on a national and international level. This role will support intellectual property (IP) strategies, collaborate with internal teams, and ensure the protection of innovative technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, prosecute, and defend patent applications globally.
- Monitor and manage industrial property rights, including appeals and third-party IP challenges.
- Coordinate IP-related tasks between external law firms and internal teams.
- Advise on development projects and cooperation agreements.
- Collaborate with R&D and product management to assess and categorize innovative ideas.
- Conduct internal and external patent analyses to evaluate portfolio strength and identify risks.
- Maintain and manage IP databases to track potential patents and ongoing applications.
- Support patent litigation, enforcement measures, and quarterly IP reporting.
- Expand and strengthen the patent portfolio, ensuring alignment with the technology roadmap.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or Mechatronics.
- Strong understanding of U.S. patent law and prosecution processes.
- Registered U.S. Patent Agent with relevant industry experience.
- Expertise in electronics engineering and technical innovation.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and meet deadlines.
