POSITION SUMMARY

Join our culinary team as a Pastry Cook II where you will play a vital role in creating exquisite desserts and pastries. Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing and cooking a variety of baked goods in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
  • Ensuring attention to detail for presentation and ingredient preparation including portioning, chopping, and safe storage.
  • Utilizing baking and measuring equipment safely and effectively.
  • Adhering to food safety handling policies and maintaining impeccable personal hygiene.
  • Monitoring kitchen appliances and food temperatures to guarantee safety standards.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen by washing and disinfecting surfaces and equipment.
  • Setting up and breaking down your workstation while complying with sanitation procedures.
  • Regularly checking food quality and serving portions throughout your shift.
Additionally, you will:
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, reporting any accidents or unsafe conditions.
  • Present yourself in a clean and professional uniform, ensuring confidentiality and protecting company assets.
  • Communicate effectively and courteously with team members and guests.
  • Comply with quality standards and expectations.
  • Assist with the physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving objects up to 25 pounds.
  • Be prepared to work in various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: Less than 1-year related work experience.

Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

License or Certification: None required.
